ABOUT US

Originally from Mexico, Veronica made Vancouver her home over fifteen years ago. In Mexico she started her professional career as editor while still a full-time university student. As editor she coordinated the publication of over 30 books, 3 bilingual magazines and a local newspaper .

 

She has extensive national and international experience developing and implementing communications strategies and effective issues/crisis management programs for the health, hospitality, tourism, arts, events, food and transportation sectors.

In 2017 Veronica became the Marketing Manager for City of Vancouver's ambitious Canada 150+ year-long celebration. The series of events were attendees by over 400k of Vancouverites.

​

In addition, Veronica was a media point of contact for the high-profile shutdown of Greyhound Canada’s services in western Canada. The project required her to monitor stakeholder reactions, research detractor positions, assess numerous media requests, develop responses, and provide media coverage reports.

​

She has worked with associations and businesses as well as local and international governments in Canada, the U.S. and Latin America to communicate client performance, and steward/preserve reputations. Veronica brings extensive cross-cultural and international experience to this assignment.

Veronica is fluent in English and Spanish, and earned her Undergraduate Degree in Literature from the University of Guadalajara, as well as a Diploma in Sustainable Community Development from Simon Fraser University.​
